2023 Season!
The 2023 season features three operas that represent the humor, passion, and beauty of the genre in stunning ways: Così fan tutte, Cendrillon, and Serse. In addition, we will present the Death By Aria vocal competition and Opera Goes to the Movies. We are also thrilled to add a new gala concert entitled: "A Divine Night of Mozart" featuring pianist Truman Walker and other artists. Join us for UVAA's unforgettable 13th season!

Witness 45 opera singers go head-to-head in a battle of arias in a game-show like setting, competing for a variety of awards, including the Deborah Voigt Award (chosen by the famous diva herself), the Mozart Prize, and more! FREE ADMISSION
July 7th, 7pm, Concert Hall, Noorda Center for the Performing Arts, UVU
Join us as we feature wunderkind, 17 year-old pianist Truman Walker, who will present Mozart's Piano Concerto number 23 in A (KV488) with orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nicolas Giusti. The program will also include performances by winners of the UVAA Future of Opera Vocal Competition, Joseph Blomberg (baritone) and Sariah Holmes (soprano), and winners of the UVAA Death By Aria Competition.

Handel's sublime opera, best known for the stunning aria "Ombra mai fu" will be presented in a semi-staged format, directed by Jamie Baer Peterson, and conducted by Johannes Bowman. With a cast of hand-picked singers from across the USA and beyond, this rarely performed masterpiece is not to be missed!

Once upon a time, opera singers were the equivalent of movies stars and rock stars. But have you noticed how modern Hollywood often turns to opera to punctuate their most emotional scenes? Join us for a night of exploring the movies and commercials that have featured opera, as our artists perform the actual scenes that made it to the silver screen!
